CoinGlass listed total spot Bitcoin ETF net inflows of $54.50 billion, equivalent to 681,290 BTC, as of its August 24 update. The same update showed daily net inflows of $337.60 million, or 4,340 BTC, daily trading volume of $8.23 billion, and total net assets of $79.16 billion.

ETF flows just flipped from red to green, and one fund is soaking up nearly all of it.
Farside Investors reported positive total net inflows on 6 straight trading days: $297.5 million on August 17, $189.3 million on August 18, $517.2 million on August 19, $606.3 million on August 20, $307.5 million on August 21, and $337.6 million on August 24.
IBIT dominated that entire run. The fund pulled in $160.2 million on August 17, $143.6 million on August 18, $284.7 million on August 19, $503.0 million on August 20, $239.3 million on August 21, and $208.9 million on August 24. Based on the Farside totals, IBIT’s share of daily inflows ranged from 54% to 83% across those 6 sessions.
The turnaround follows a rough stretch earlier in the month. Farside reported total category outflows of $61.1 million on August 12, $131.1 million on August 13, and $56.2 million on August 14. IBIT alone bled 224.94 BTC on August 12, 89.83 BTC on August 13, and 874.61 BTC on August 14.
IBIT now sits at $59.09 billion in assets under management with a 0.25% expense ratio. Its August 24 update showed a price of $44.735 per share across 1.33 billion shares outstanding, with $358.73 thousand in volume and 8,020 shares traded.
The category-wide picture confirms just how top-heavy this market is. IBIT holds a cumulative net inflow of 782,210 BTC and $59.09 billion in AUM. Fidelity’s FBTC follows with 185,610 BTC and $11.22 billion.
Grayscale’s original GBTC has bled 447,280 BTC and sits at $10.35 billion. Grayscale’s Mini Trust holds 34,760 BTC and $4.12 billion. Bitwise’s BITB holds 41,500 BTC and $2.99 billion. ARK’s ARKB holds 40,140 BTC and $2.70 billion.
Dividing IBIT’s $59.09 billion in AUM by the $79.16 billion total net assets across the spot Bitcoin ETF category puts BlackRock’s share at approximately 74.6%. That is the basis for describing IBIT as controlling roughly 75% of the entire spot Bitcoin ETF market.
August 20 Flow Concentration
On August 20, Farside Investors reported $606.3 million in total net inflows for US spot Bitcoin ETFs. IBIT accounted for $503.0 million, while FBTC added $64.7 million, BITB added $26.4 million, ARKB added $12.2 million, and BTCO added $3.6 million. HODL recorded a $3.6 million outflow, according to the same table.
HedgeCo.Net described the August 20 figure as a creation-unit print and noted that IBIT’s share reflected BlackRock winning the creation process that day rather than broad-based sponsorship across the tracked ETF complex. The report also cautioned against treating several positive flow sessions as a lasting commitment from allocators.
