GCash Parent Mynt Sets October 2026 PSE Listing: Here Are the Key IPO Dates

Investors looking to grab a piece of the Philippines’ dominant fintech platform now have a firm schedule for what is set to be the nation’s largest stock market debut.

Mynt Inc., the company behind GCash, has finalized its preliminary prospectus timeline for an October 2026 listing on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) under the ticker symbol GCASH. The blockbuster offering will give retail traders and foreign funds a narrow window to prepare their cash positions ahead of the multi-billion-peso listing.

Key Dates for the GCash IPO Schedule

The initial public offering follows a tight schedule across the first three weeks of October:

• Indicative Pricing Window: Late September to October 1, 2026
• Final Offer Price Notice to SEC/PSE: October 2, 2026
• Public Offer Period: October 5 to October 12, 2026
• Target PSE Listing Date: October 19 to October 20, 2026

Offer Breakdown: Price, Shares, and Allocations

Mynt has set an indicative offer price of up to ₱10.00 per share. The total offer consists of 8,027,409,600 common shares, divided into:

• Primary Shares: Up to 1,605,481,900 shares issued directly by Mynt.
• Secondary Shares: Up to 6,421,927,700 shares sold by existing shareholders.
• Overallotment Option: Up to 1,204,111,400 additional shares.

At the maximum price, the transaction will raise over ₱90 billion, valuing Mynt at approximately $8 billion.

Retail investors get a dedicated 30% allocation of the main offer shares via local brokerages and the PSE TradEx platform. The remaining 70% is earmarked for institutional investors.

Market Funds Are Already Rebalancing

The size of the ₱90-billion deal is already influencing the broader Philippine equities market. Because institutional funds need substantial liquidity to participate in an offering of this scale, asset managers are liquidating portions of their existing stock portfolios.

COL Financial Chief Equity Strategist April Lynn Tan noted that both local and foreign funds must free up cash to allocate toward GCash shares. This reshuffling is driving short-term technical selling across other PSE-listed equities ahead of the October debut.

Where the Capital Will Go

Estimated net proceeds from the primary shares totaling roughly ₱14.9 billion will flow directly into Mynt’s corporate balance sheet to fund specific operational priorities:

• Expanding CreditTech lending capabilities (GLoan, GGives, GCredit)
• Developing core cloud infrastructure and AI risk engines
• Scaling digital business tools for micro and small enterprises
• Maintaining strategic liquidity reserves

Proceeds from the secondary shares will go to selling shareholders, which include Globe Telecom, the Ayala Group, and Ant Financial.

A Market Leader Hits the Trading Floor

The IPO arrives as GCash maintains undisputed dominance over the Philippine digital finance sector. As of March 2026, the super app reported 40.4 million monthly active users, which is four times the active base of its nearest competitor. The platform processed ₱17.0 trillion in transaction volume across 2025 and maintained a 99.9% uptime rating across its core services during the first quarter of 2026.
