XRP is making an impression on New York City commuters just as Ripple prepares to bring the crypto industry together for Swell 2026. Videos circulating online show XRP branding across subway trains and stations in Manhattan, featuring a large white logo against a black background and the slogan “Crypto Responsibly.”
@XRP will skyrocket soon @Ripple is up to something big. This is in New York City 42nd street train station even inside of the train everything XRP. Like @RosieRios said the train has left the station. @MTA even knows its just like @bgarlinghouse said XRP is the North Star. pic.twitter.com/QkrzClFEzA

The campaign arrives at an important moment for XRP. Ripple’s flagship conference is scheduled for this week, October 27–29, with investors looking for fresh developments that could revive interest in the token. But while the marketing push puts XRP in front of a wider audience, its price is still struggling to establish a convincing recovery.
The timing is nevertheless notable. Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation recently launched XRP.org, a website highlighting the token’s potential applications, including cross-border payments. New York also hosted an AI and fintech XRP Ledger hackathon on October 24–25, bringing developers and industry participants together ahead of the Ripple Swell.
These developments provide a backdrop for the latest XRP marketing push. XRP is trading at $1.29, with technical indicators pointing to continued short-term weakness. Can Ripple Swell 2026 provide the catalyst for a rebound, or are traders preparing for another sell-the-news event?

Ripple Swell 2026 Could Help XRP Reach Its Short-Term $2 Target
Ripple Swell 2026 is set to bring together financial leaders, fintech companies, developers, researchers, and participants from the XRP ecosystem. This year, Ripple is combining its Swell and Apex conferences with UBRI Connect, expanding the event’s focus across traditional finance, blockchain development, and academic research.
Announcements involving payments, institutional infrastructure, custody, or XRP Ledger applications could strengthen the investment narrative surrounding the ecosystem. Yet not every development on the XRP Ledger necessarily creates immediate buying pressure for XRP itself.
However, there is also a risk that expectations have already been reflected in the price. Traders who bought ahead of the conference may decide to take profits once the event begins, particularly if major announcements fail to exceed expectations. It’s always sell the news.

XRP Price Forecast: Can Bulls Defend $1.25?
XRP’s technical setup remains challenging heading into the conference. With the token trading near $1.29, the market is approaching a crucial area where buyers must demonstrate that selling pressure is easing.
The $1.25 level stands out as an important support zone. Holding above it could give XRP a base from which to attempt a recovery, while a decisive break below support would weaken the near-term outlook and expose the token to further downside.
On the upside, resistance around $1.31 is the first hurdle to watch. A sustained move above this level could improve short-term momentum, with $1.34 representing another area of interest. A stronger recovery would require XRP to reclaim higher resistance levels rather than relying on a brief spike driven by Ripple Swell headlines.
The current technical picture favors caution. Recent market analysis shows bearish short-term momentum, while the relative strength index remains in weaker territory. That suggests buyers have yet to establish convincing control.
The XRP price outlook could improve if conference-related developments coincide with rising trading volume and a sustained break above resistance. Conversely, a failure to reclaim $1.31, followed by a loss of $1.25, would suggest that enthusiasm surrounding Ripple Swell is not enough to reverse the prevailing trend.
